Delivering the gift of joy

Though Jenna Kast passed away in 2010, her legacy remains strong through the non-profit organization, Believe in Miracles. Run by her family, the organization created in honor of Jenna grants wishes to children who have been diagnosed with life-threatening medical conditions.

“It’s important to know what a wish means to a child,” explains Paula Kast, Jenna’s mother and Director of Believe in Miracles. “A wish does so much to improve their health of mind and gives a child something to look forward to.”

With the support of donors, the organization has been able to deliver wishes such as sending a family on an RV trip around Michigan, attending a Detroit Pistons practice session, and a racing stroller for a family to spend time together outside exercising.

First State Bank commends Jenna Kast’s Believe in Miracles for bringing joy to children and giving them something to look forward to. To support the organization’s work, we’re donating $5,000, the third of six planned gifts to Macomb County nonprofits this year.

Thank you for making a difference!
